Before the unsuccessful attempt to kill herself, a Colorado mother murdered her 9-year-old son. She confessed to shooting at her son five times and killing him while he was sleeping. Find out more about this disturbing story after the jump.

It’s so sad to see innocent lives taken away. Lisa Lesyshen had problems of her own with the separation of her and her husband, but why did she have to bring her 9-year-old son into it? Lisa shot and killed her son with a .22 caliber gun, and then went into a room upstairs to take her own life. When Steamboat Springs law enforcement arrived, 9-year-old (Asher) was pronounced dead, and his mother was unconscious due to a single gun shot wound. Lesyshen reportedly bought the gun two days before this tragic event occurred.

While in a hospital bed, Lisa Lesyshen admitted to killing her 9-year-old son to sheriffs Sgt. Kurtis Luster. She will be charged accordingly.

Kim Kardashian gave birth to her daughter with Kanye West 5 weeks early this past weekend at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. Though we know it was a natural birth and their baby girl was happy and healthy, little else was known about the delivery room details…but of course, a source has sprung a leak! Someone close to the new parents says there was a tad bit of drama, as neither Kim nor Kanye was really prepared. Kim “cried tears of joy and pain” while in labor, and though the baby arrived totally healthy, she still was allegedly placed in an incubator just as a precaution. She weighs just under 5 pounds and according to momager Kris, she’s a beauty!

Kanye was by her side through it all (and even skipped out on an album listening session to be there), but was nervous and “wanted assurance the baby was fine.” Of course no details on the name yet, but many speculate the obvious…it will begin with a K. Any guesses for now?

Ewwwwwwww! I don’t know how this guy is so cool about showing off a staph infection! Over the weekend UFC fighter Mark Hunt revealed he was in the hospital and underwent surgery for an infected hematoma in his left leg. He shared a video of the wound. Just a warning, it’s pretty graphic/gross if you have a weak stomach.

Hunt fought in May where he lost by knockout to former UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos. The fight came just days after Hunt was able to get to the United States after having his travel visa delayed by weeks because of a past run in with law enforcement while in America.

Now back at home in New Zealand, Hunt is dealing with a whole new ailment that put him under the doctor’s scalpel, and he is taking several rounds of antibiotics to deal with an infection on his leg that developed after the fight.

Hunt first released the news via his Twitter account stating that he was in the hospital for surgery and still had more operations to go until he was finished.

In a reply to a fan, Hunt revealed that he had an infected hematoma on his leg in addition to a broken toe and joked that he was “a walking infection”.

Hunt then had a friend film a video of him in the hospital, revealing the nasty nature of the staph infection which literally ate through the skin and muscle in his leg.  Be forewarned the video of Hunt’s leg is not for the faint of heart.
