Grand Hustle Gang rapper B.o.B. teams up with 2 Chainz for what is sure to be one of the most buzzed about music videos for their collaboration track ‘Headband.’
Last week Bobby Ray and 2 Chainz teased fans with a 60 second sampler of their ‘Headband’ track, but no one knew that had such a solid music video in line for the project as well. B.o.B. kicks things off on the club anthem.
” Already got one, rolled up in my left hand / Pussy on my mind, tighter than a headband / Kush in my lungs, got ganja in my sweat glands / This shit I’m on, better than the next strand.”
2 Chainz handles duties on the second verse. ” I am so cold, n*gga like Ben & Jerry / Fill a n*gga, deal a n*gga, kill a n*gga, obituary / My vision blurry, these bitches flirtin’ / I’ve been drinking all night, I think my kidney’s hurtin.’”
The DJ Mustard produced track is NSFW, but it’s certainly worth watching on your free time. Watch the music video for B.o.B. and 2 Chainz’s ‘Headband’ single below.
Roc Nation continues their rap takeover as the management group helmed by Jay-Z signs up and coming producer DJ Mustard to the team.
Jay-Z has been all over the media this year for making moves in music (with the release of his Open Letter single), along with his moves on the business landscape.
His Roc Nation label has been rising to prominence over the past few years, and Jay-Z is not slowing down when it comes to expanding his roster. His latest addition to the team comes from the signing of DJ Mustard.
DJ Mustard is most known for his contributions to the “ratchet movement” music, and was responbile for producing Tyga’s smash single from last year ‘Rack City’ along with Y.G.’s “I’m A Thug.” He also recently produced B.o.B. and 2 Chainz’s track ‘Headband.’

With his sophomore album right around the corner,Mac Miller confirms that we will have to wait until after ‘Watching Movies With The Sound’ off releases before we get our hands on ‘Pink Slime.’
Last year Mac Miller made a ground breaking announcement when he unveiled that he would be joining forces with Neptunes super producer Pharrell for a collaboration album titled ‘Pink Slime.’
It was set to drop at the end of 2012, but as with most big name collaboration albums/mixtapes, the project never saw the light of day. The two did team up to drop some music together, but Mac Miller revealed that he has to build his brand a bit more before dropping that project.
“Pink Slime with Pharrell was the next move for awhile, but I just realized that it wasn’t time to do that yet. Like before I take my brand and mix it with Pharrell I wanna solidify what my brand is first. So I wanna do my album first,” Mac explained in an interview with Hot 97.
We don’t have an official release date for Mac Miller’s ‘Watching Movies With The Sound Off’ album, but he did team up with Flying Lotus for the lead single titled ‘S.D.S.‘ last week.

Scott Storch is making his way back into music and announced that he’s planning to expand work to include DJing. The producer explained that his well-publicized personal issues kept him away from the studio, but now he’s doing more than ever.
Storch explained that he’s regained his passion for music. “I think I’m finally falling in love with music again, I lost the passion for a while …due to public personal issues and stuff I went through,” Storch told AllHipHop.com.
Storch added that he’s been spending plenty of time in the studio and making more music than he ever has. “As time goes by, the clarity I’m gaining every day, I feel like my music is getting better. More vivid and just effortless…I’m really focused in the studio, doing more production than ever. I’m like a studio junkie now,” said Storch.
Storch is also interested in putting himself out there as a DJ and says he could put out some solo projects. “The DJ is really making some serious paper and it’s a good venue to solicit your own records. I’m trying to do something a little different, similar to the way Travis Barker and DJ AM did,” said Stroch.
