Roc Nation continues their rap takeover as the management group helmed by Jay-Z signs up and coming producer DJ Mustard to the team.
Jay-Z has been all over the media this year for making moves in music (with the release of his Open Letter single), along with his moves on the business landscape.
His Roc Nation label has been rising to prominence over the past few years, and Jay-Z is not slowing down when it comes to expanding his roster. His latest addition to the team comes from the signing of DJ Mustard.
DJ Mustard is most known for his contributions to the “ratchet movement” music, and was responbile for producing Tyga’s smash single from last year ‘Rack City’ along with Y.G.’s “I’m A Thug.” He also recently produced B.o.B. and 2 Chainz’s track ‘Headband.’
Expect to see plenty of new music and big name collaborations in the coming months for DJ Mustard.
