Lil Wayne is well on his way to recovery after suffering a seizure last week and he’s already looking forward to the summer when he’ll set withT.I. for the America’s Most Wanted Tour. Weezy has also apparently made amends with TMZ following criticisms from the YMCMB camp that the outlet blew his condition out of proportion and appeared in a video put out by TMZ.

Wayne took the opportunity to thank his fans for their prayers while he was in hospital. “I just want to say thank you to all y’all for your prayers and your concerns and all that, I swear to God I felt that love when I was laid up in that motherfuckin’ hospital bed,” said Wayne.

Wayne also confirmed that he’s still on track to release his next album on schedule. “My bum ass album is still coming out March 26, ‘I Am Not a Human Being 2,’” said Wayne.

Wayne brought in T.I. to announce the America’s Most Wanted Tour which will start up on July 5^th. “I hope you nigga brung money ’cause it going down homes, July 5th, we cranking that mother fucker up,” Tip said.

Gucci Mane has become a wanted man after allegedly striking a soldier in the head with a champagne bottle in a club called Harlem Nights in Atlanta. Police issued a warrant for Gucci’s arrest when the soldier, who’s only offered his first name James to the media, decided to press charges.

The soldier says he approached a security guard to see if he could gain access to the VIP section of the club in order to snap a picture with the rapper when Gucci struck him. “I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle,” James told WSBTV.

James was shocked by the attack, which wasn’t the only blow he’d take. “And as I looked at him in the shock of why, one of his friends hit me in the side of my face,” said James.

Police expect that Gucci will turn himself in on the warrant, but added that the incident sets a dangerous precedent. “We do have an active warrant for Mr. Davis for aggravated assault. So I’m sure after he sees this, I’m sure he’ll want to reach out and contact us. That is dangerous because if there was to be any other fan trying to approach him, ain’t no telling what else he might do to them,” said Lt. Jeff Cantin.

Harlem rapper Vinny Cha$e recently inked a deal with Epic Records that will partner his Cheers Club imprint with the label in a joint-venture. Cha$e was sought after by other labels, including Diddy’s Bad Boy Records, but decided to go with Epic as a result of a personal connection.

Cha$e explained that the $2.5 million put up by Epic and his continued ownership of his publishing rights wasn’t as important as his longstanding friendship with Epic A&R Aaron Reid, son of chairman/CEO Antonio “L.A.” Reid, when he decided on the label. “What really enticed me was my bro Aaron Reid–just the relationship we have as friends. I trust him. [It] wasn’t a big negotiation. We just wanted to do things right,” Cha$e told Billboard.com’s The Juice.

The deal has  pushed Cha$e to begin work on a new mixtape as well as his major-label debut, but he’s planning on retaining control over his sound. “We’re not going to jeopardize our brand. We just want to be cutting edge and push the envelope,” said Cha$e.

Cha$e has worked as a filmmaker for Lil Wayne and Cam’Ron and dropped his debut mixtape ‘The Plaza’ in 2011 which has generated over 1.6 million views for his YouTube page.

Styles P is gearing up for the release of his upcoming album ‘Float’ and revealed the cover art and tracklist for the project. The LP is currently scheduled to drop on April 16^th and will come out through Nature Sounds/High Times Records with production from Scram Jones.

The project includes a number of features including contributions from N.O.R.E., P.A.P.I., Sheek Louch, Jadakiss, Raekwon, and Bullpen, according to XXL.

Styles P previously explained that the album will offer something for a wide range of fans and explained, “’Float’ is just a real crazy project. If you a Hip Hop head, if you a pothead, if you a music head – if you just a head of fly shit, ‘Float’ is the project you want to have, man.”

The album, which is The LOX rapper’s sixth full-length solo project, hits only five months after the release of ‘The World’s Most Hardest MC Project.’

Snoop Lion has unveiled the tracklist for his upcoming reggae album ‘Reincarnated,’ according toHHNM,  and it looks like the project won’t be short on features. The rapper just released the documentary, also titled ‘Reincarnated,’ which follows Snoop’s adoption of Rastafarian culture, and the flick is available for pre-order on Amazon.

Snoop has already put out ‘La La La’ and ‘No Guns Allowed’ featuring his daughter Cori B and Drake as the album’s first two singles, as well as visuals for ‘Lighters Up‘ and ‘Here Comes the King‘.

The record is also set to feature Angela Hunte, Mavado, Popcaan, Mr. Vegas, Collie Budz, Akon, Rita Ora, Miley Cyrus, Busta Rhymes, Chris Brown and more.

The album is currently scheduled to drop on April 23^rd and it is currently up for pre-order on Amazon.

It looks like Gilbere Forte may be the newest rapper to sign a major label record deal with Epic Records as the Philadelphia rapper alluded to signing with L.A. Reid through Twitter today.

These days rappers and producers like to generate a bit of buzz for announcements before they actually make the announcements.

Gilbere Forte may be the perfect example of what we’re referring to. The Philadelphia rapper/producer made an announcement on his Twitter account earlier today, and posted a photograph with himself alongside L.A. Reid.

“I have an announcement. #PRAY…I love my team. My family. We are about to change MUSIC and the business. #PRAY…Sometimes we have to leave some parts of us behind, just to get ahead in life. #PRAY,” the 25 year old rapper tweeted.

While it has not been 100 percent confirmed if Gilbere Forte has signed a deal with Epic Records, we think the tweet along with the photo would suggest just that. The news comes just days after Harlem rapper Vinny Chase signed a deal with Epic Records as well.

Soulja Boy finds himself on the receiving end of an attack from hackers, temporarily losing his social media accounts.

While social media has been a great way for our favorite artists to stay in touch with fans, it also comes with a huge pitfall; hackers. It seems that rappers are constantly getting their accounts hacked, and now Soulja Boy falls victim to the social media hacking epidemic as well.

Apparently the SODMG rapper had all of social media accounts hacked, and even had his YouTube videos deleted from his account. Once the rapper got a hold of his Twitter account, he reached out to his fans for support.

“If any of my followers know anyone from Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube/Google let me know because all of my accounts are hacked. Thanks…This is only going to make me go harder, they deleted all my YouTube videos that’s some real hater shit right there.”

It looks like though everything has been restored for Soujla Boy including all of his YouTube videos, but it doesn’t look like these issues will be stopping anytime soon.
